This was after her grandma Grace Wangari Mwangi, the mother to Bishop Pius Muiru met her death after a watchman colluded with her daughter in law to kill her.

The matriarch was found buried in a shallow grave after the foul murder in Karega village in Kigumo, Murang’a County.

Pius’ mother was laid to rest a few days after her death in Murang’a County and the funeral was attended by close family who wore purple and black, villagers and friends.

Pius eldest daughter who we haven’t seen since her grand 9 Million wedding that was the talk of the town resurfaced for the first time in close to two years.

Members of the Mother’s guild who wore blue acted as pallbearers for their fallen comrade.

Despite the glaring sunlight, a sombre mood engulfed the send-off ceremony and no dry eye was in sight as the septuagenarian was laid to rest.

Following his mother’s burial, Pius sent out this message to his supporters and well-wishers “We the family of Bishop Pius Muiru wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to you for the support you gave us during the mysterious demise of our Mum. This meant a lot to us and it will remain forever engraved in our hearts and memories. Thank you for your prayers, response, attendance, financial and material support. Stay blessed.”
