Rick Ross Rocks Nairobi in a memorable Concert [Photos]

The NRG Concert went down on Saturday

Visiting American Rap Icon Rick Ross lived up to expectation during the NRG Wave concert on Saturday night at the carnivore grounds, Nairobi.

Things went down well at the carnivore grounds despite the heavy rains that had pounded the city, in an exciting and historic concert that went on to the wee hours of Sunday.

It was a non-stop performance by the rapper, popularly known as Rozzay, who took exactly one hour and 10 minutes to entertain his delighted fans.

His appearance took revelers, into exciting moment during one of the biggest entertainment event in Kenya in 2018.

The Maybach Music Group CEO gave a memorable performance as he sang the crowd’s favorite tunes, ranging from I think she like me, Hustlin to I'm not a star.

The event dubbed NRGWave was organized by NRG Radio and it also featured Kenyan stars, Khaligraph Jones, Fena Gitu, Timmy Tdat, Camp Mulla and Nyashinski.

Khaligraph Jones

Khaligraph Jones also known by his stage name as Papa Jones, gave his best tunes among them, Mazishi, Omollo, Hiyo Doo, Toa Tint, Mat za Ronga featuring Tunji among others.

Camp Mulla

Camp Mullah, who ruled the airwaves before splitting four years ago, made a grand reunion as they curtain raised for American iconic rapper Rick Ross.

The group reminded revelers of the good old days when they used to rock the airwaves with their sing along tunes that had been missed by many.

Fena Gitu

Being the only lady on the performance list, Fena Gitu aka phenomenal woman did not disappointed as she gave an electrifying performance at the NRGwave Concert.

Nyashinski

Rapper Nyashinski, real name Nyamari Ongegu, who made it to the list of few Kenyan artistes with a successful comeback story, also drilled revelers that the NRG Wave concert with his sing along tunes.

Timmy Tdat

Timmy T Dat who also doubled as the MC of the night also made it to the performance list. His appearance on stage was energetic as he brought along his dancers who made sure that fans get the value of their money. Timmy performed his tunes ranging from Kitambo, Kasayole, Wembe that saw Otile Brown join him on stage among others.

The DJ line-up had the likes of the African Mzungu DJ Kace, DJ Mellow, DJ Xclusive and DJ Space who made sure revelers had the best ultimate Boss Experience.

Celebrated NRG Radio hosts Mwalimu Racheal and rapper Timmy T Dat were the official emcees for the night.

A good number of sponsors had thrown their weight into making the event a success including, Safaricom through Songa, Sprite, EABL, Shell, Bonfire Adventures, Redbull, MoSound Events, FlexAir Charters, A1 Entertainment, with Pulse Live Kenya coming on board as the official media partners.
