“It’s my very last Alfajiri show on @K24Tv and I want you to tune in because it’s going to be 🔥 🔥 #HangoutFriday #K24Alfajiri,” she tweeted.
In a video on K24, Serah Ndanu gave out a cheery goodbye to the K24 team who have held her hand and moulded her into the reputable TV host she now is.
“Mediamax, K24 thank you so much. When I started I was very fresh, very green but you guys just held my hand and trusted me. I started the show with Jeff Mote, Ciru Muriuki and they held my hand and look at me right now. We have grown, it has been quite an interesting journey. Big thank you to the hosts, to the people off camera, directors, crew it’s been an amazing journey. K24 will always be my family,” she said.
Her departure comes months after Alfajiri host Ciru Muriuki left K24 for BBC.
Ahead of her last show, Ciru bid goodbye to her fans who had supported her all through.
“I'm about to wrap up my final time co-hosting K24 Alfajiri. I am so honoured to have worked on such a great show with such a great team! and keep killing this morning TV game! I'm super excited about the next phase of my career. Dreams do come true, ” shared Ciru Muriuki.
