Former Nation Media Journalist Selly Kadot Amutambi who was attached to Q FM has landed a new radio job after a long break.
“Happy to be back on AIR the mic has always been a part of me so that my angelic voice can make someone somewhere. The break I take was for rest and preparation. This, this is God's speed and He sure has more in store for me. Make a date with me trust me you won't be disappointed” Shared Selly Kadot Amutambi
The radio personality was among employees who were laid off when Nation Media Group reached on a decision to close down the Radio department and its Swahili TV division.

The group defended its decision, saying it was a necessary move to secure its business position in the market. The company has operations in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda.
“ In line with this new reality, we are reorganising ourselves with the aim of transforming NMG into a 21st century company by embracing digital as the business model. We will also scale down our radio business (QFM and Nation FM) in Kenya and K FM in Rwanda. We will keep our signal alive and maintain an online presence in line with our new digital strategy. Regrettably, this will lead to redundancy of workforce," the statement read.
