Kenyan singer Fena Gitu has spoken on reports that have for some time claimed she is a lesbian.
In an interview with K24’s Up Close with Betty, the Steam singer clearly stated that her sexuality is nobody’s business.
She went on to say that she was not going to address the matter because what anyone does in their home is out of bounds for people out there.
“I’m just single and out here but I’m focusing on my work. As for my sexuality, it’s no one’s business. Even you when people are always on your case in blogs and stuff, it’s no one’s business what you’re doing in your home and I don’t wanna feed that, I’m here because I’m a musician first,” she said.
Asked if she was dating anyone, the Fenamenal woman said that she was single and fully focused on her music.
She added that she is also not searching for a lover but if love happens to come her way, she will not resist.
Ms Fena Gitu has been linked to having lesbian relationships with various female celebrities including former KTN News anchor Edith Kimani who currently works for German TV station Deutsche Welle (DW).
She has also been accused of being lovers with Marini Naturals founder Michelle Ntalami.
In the interview, she also talked extensively about her life and her music business disclosing that she was an A student in school, but the passion for music stopped her from doing what she studied in campus.
