Willy Paul set to launch his own Record label

Big things for Pozzee

Kenyan Gospel singer Willy Paul is set to launch his own record label in a few weeks.

The singer made the revelation through his social media accounts something that has seen congratulatory message flooding from his fans and fellow artistes.

“Yes its coming. I’m blessed!! God is good the biggest record label in town owned by me is about to drop!!! You better be ready and scared kidogo!!! Once again God is good!!” Read the message.

Earlier on, the singer shared pictures of him with various other artistes which he captioned with a message that this year is a good year for him and for his fans too.

Willy Pozzee’s move seems to be inspired by his role model musically, Tanzania’s Diamond Platnumz who currently owns Tanzania’s biggest music record label, as well as trying to level up his longtime rival Gospel singer Kevin Bahati who has had a record label – EMB Records running for almost a year.

Willy Paul has in the past received a lot of hostility from the Gospel industry with some gospel DJs even refusing to play his hit songs including ‘I Do’ which he features Jamaican artiste Alaine as they claimed that the song was not ‘Christian enough’.

The singer has however, always maintained that the issues are raised by the people who don’t like him and it is because they know his works and are scared of him.
