Nude pregnancy shoots are the new wave.

As much as nude shoots are still frowned upon in the African society, there's something so stupendous about a woman having a boudoir shoot, comfortable enough in her own skin and body. When pregnant, a woman can feel like she's lost her sex appeal and beauty; suddenly, you have this huge bump, skin breakouts, morning sickness, swollen feet and God knows what else. But then again, that's the beauty of being pregnant - the ups and downs of a pregnancy journey that culminates to bringing another human into this earth. Maternity shoots are important, more so because you will not have the bump forever and it's important to have something that will act as a reminder of your pregnancy. Nowadays, women across the world have embraced nude maternity shoots and the pregnancy slayage is totes on another level. The key to nailing a nude shoot is looking and feeling sexy in your body.

Of course, a little hair and makeup makeover will level up the shoot, and perhaps some accessories and props. It's also important to get a photographer who not only makes you feel comfortable being semi-naked but one who is also patient and guides you during the shoot. One lady, Suebella, an entrepreneur and model showed us how it's done and boy, we are so here for it.

For her maternity shoot, she had a series of photos, covered in nothing but gold queen-esque accessories and others in different fabrics. The shoot encompassed outdoor as well as studio shots and with her hair wet, makeup on fleek and body dripping in finesse and melanin, she made pregnancy look so sexy.
