7 worst dating mistakes women make that leave them single

Wondering why you’re still single? This could why.

If you’ve ever wondered why you are still single even after doing everything to make sure you’re not, the issue may not be that your date laughed that one time with his mouth open but more to do with the mistakes you are making.

According to dating site datingtips.match.com, there are many mistakes single women make that cost them getting their soul mate.

Here are 7 of them.

1.Making lists

You want your man to be this tall, have certain characteristics and if they don’t they don’t qualify or you won’t even give them a chance to try.

According to the site, expecting a man to fulfill all these requirements is close to impossible and closes off opportunity for a greater guy to come along.

2.Complain about your ex a lot

If you’re not over your ex then there’s no point of putting another person through the torture of being reminded all the time how your ex hurt you. It’s not fair, it is annoying and unattractive.

3.Desperation

You want to be in a relationship so bad that you will do almost anything to make sure that you aren’t single anymore; including settling for the wrong guy.

Don’t date for the sake of avoiding being single, date because that person treats you right and the way you deserve to be treated.

4.Taking the mystery out of dating

You lay everything out there. Even the most personal details.

Men enjoy the chase and when they don’t have anything to chase, they easily give up trying with you.

There will be time to tell all the kinky stories you want to tell him.

5.Saying you don’t need a man

True statement. A man shouldn’t define your happiness. Reminding him that you don’t need one though is just unnecessary. The guy will keep wondering what the whole point of trying to date you is.

6.Putting yourself out there before you’re ready

If you aren’t ready to dive back into the dating pool, then you’re not ready. It could be that you just got out of a bad break up or that you’re just focused on your career at that time. It’s okay to put off dating for a while until you feel like accommodating someone in your life.

7.Not putting yourself out there

You want to be in a relationship but are always hiding in your house complaining instead of going out and putting yourself out there. That man isn’t going to magically appear out of nowhere.
