Health services inaccessible
Research conducted by the University of Nairobi in 2012 established that women in the Loima area are not likely to deliver at a health facility hence the difficulty in handling complex procedures.
The researchers recommended proper education on danger signs during pregnancy, emphasizing to the community the importance of health facility delivery.
