Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria has left Kenyans mouth agape after posting a rather scary message directed to Interior and Coordination Joseph Nkaissery and Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet.
In the Facebook post, Mr. Kuria was highlighting the brutality that police officers came face-to-face with during a political rally in Siaya County.
In the photos shared by the lawmaker, a senior police officer is seen being mercilessly beaten by ODM supporters.
The officer, who is Yala OCS, was nearly killed when chaos erupted in the rally after NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga asked locals to vote six-piece.
While condemning the act, Kuria stated: "Joseph Nkaissery, IG Boinett these are ODM goons attacking police officers in Siaya. The officers were shielding Gumbo's supporters from the goons. Gumbo is a kind man. I am not".
The legislator's last statement, however, was what caused an uproar among Kenyans on social media.
The Gatundu South MP warned that he will reap ODM supporters apart in case they attack him during campaigns.
"They try such stuff on me and you will send county workers to sweep their intestines and throw them to Lake Victoria," Kuria said.
According to reports, the rally turned chaotic as supporters of two rival groups - Siaya Gubernatorial aspirant Nicholas Gumbo and incumbent Cornel Rasanga - hurled stones and attacked each other using clubs.
This forced the Former Prime Minister to end the rally unceremoniously.
