Kanze Dena on Friday took over as the Acting State House Spokesperson following the redeployment of Manoah Esipisu.
Manoah Esipisu has been the head of Presidential Strategic Communication Unit (PSCU) and State House Spokseperson.
In her speech at State House in Nairobi, Kanze said that her boss, Manoah Esipisu, had been picked by President Uhuru Kenyatta to an ambassadorial job, but didn’t disclose the new work destination.
“I am giving this statement as the acting Spokesperson in the office of the President. As I have already said, my boss [Manoah Esipisu] has been assigned a new role as an ambassador,” she told journalists at State House in Friday briefing.

Early last month, the former Citizen TV Swahili anchor was made Deputy State House spokesperson in far-reaching changes made in the Presidential Strategic Communication Unit.
Chief of Staff Waita Nzioka said Ms Dena’s appointment is part of the efforts to strengthen quality and reach of communication from the presidency.
“She will focus on President Uhuru Kenyatta’s brand positioning, media relations and messaging with respect to the delivery the Big Four agenda,” Mr Nzioka said.
Mr Kenyatta also approved the establishment of a presidential library, museum and exhibition centre.
The library will be headed by Ms Munira Mohamed who is also the deputy head of the PSCU. Ms Dena has nearly 15 years of experience in Communication, particularly TV journalism.
Cabinet Changes
Meanwhile, President Uhuru Kenyatta has reshuffled his Cabinet and made several changes in the structure of his government.
Industrialization CS Adan Mohammed moves to has been moved to East African Affairs while Peter Munya will head the Trade ministy.
The other changes will affect senior government officials including PSs and CASs.
Education PS Prof Coletta Suda has been promoted to become CAS in the same ministry.
Nelson Marwa, who has served as Devolution PS, has been deployed to serve as PS in the newly created department on Senior Citizen Protection.
Former West Pokot Governor, who has been serving as Education CAS, has been transferred to the Energy ministry and will occupy the same position.
Francis Owino is the new Youth PS while Esther Koimett has been moved from PS Treasury to the ministry of Transport.
