An angry Deputy President William Ruto who is yet to come to terms with the events of Thursday's by-election in Kibra has issued an ultimatum to opposition chief Raila Odinga over the chaos that were witnessed during the polls that saw ODM's Bernard Imran Okoth floor McDonald Mariga.
Taking to Twitter on Saturday, 09 November 2019 afternoon, Ruto demanded for a public apology from Odinga and his party for what he termed as the “culture of violence, chaos, terror and gangsterism”.
“As Kenyans we demand that Tinga/his party unconditionally, unequivocally and publicly RENOUNCE the culture of violence, chaos, terror and gangsterism their signature modus operandi as witnessed in Kibra &” Ruto wrote.
He further demanded that the apology should extend beyond the recent chaos to those who have been affected by the same in the past.
