Jaguar warns Babu Owino after insulting Matiang’i

Last year the two engaged in a Fist fight at Parliament buildings.

Starehe Member of Parliament Charles Njagua aka Jaguar has send out a stern warning to Babu Owino over his insults to the President and Interior CS Fred Matiang’i.

Jaguar have accused Babu of hurling insults at President Uhuru Kenyatta and Interior CS Fred Matiang’i and hiding in Parliament to escape arrest.

“We are warning some of our leaders who use Parliament as a hiding den after hurling insults to Uhuru and Matiang’i. We are now back to business and will not tolerate jokers,” Jaguar said.

He added that if Babu continues with the same insults on the Jubilee regime, he will personally hand him to the police.

“If they continue insulting Uhuru’s administration, we will be smoking them out of Parliament and handing them over to the police.” added Jaguar

On Wednesday last week, Babu sought intervention from House Speaker Justin Muturi after receiving reports that Flying Squad officers were eagerly waiting for him outside the Parliament Buildings.

He claimed police officers in three vehicles wanted to arrest him for remarks he made during NASA’s Baba Dogo rally.

Later on,  Babu made a surprise revelation on Matiang’i after being accused of making seemingly insulting comments about him.

The MP was quoted refereeing to the Interior CS Fred Matiang’i as “Marehemu" (a deceased person) and as a Mkembe ya Blueband (Blue band tin).

His sentiments elicited strong reactions across both sides of the political divide

He came out to reveal that the Matiang’i he was referring to was not the Interior CS, but his friend who coincidentally happens to share the same surname as the CS.

According to the MP his friend (Matiang’i) was nicknamed “Marehemu”.

“I was not referring to Fred Matiang'i of jubilee when I said 'marehemu Matiang'i'. I was talking about a friend of mine called Josephat Matiang’i from Etago, South Mugirango whose nickname is Marehemu after he died and resurrected after a day.” Explained Hon. Babu Owino

On November late last year, Jaguar apologized to his constituents following a fist fight with Babu at Parliament buildings.
