Martha Karua's powerful statement after Uhuru met Raila

Uhuru and Raila met at Harambee House in Nairobi on Friday. The details of the meeting are not yet known.

Narc-Kenya party leader Martha Karua on Friday issued a powerful statement minutes after news broke that Nasa leader Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta held talks at his Harambee House office.

Taking to twitter on Friday, the former Kirinyaga Gubernatorial candidate hit at President Uhuru, adding that a dialogue for the people could not be avoided, given the circumstances in the country.

“Dialogue like we have said before cannot be avoided by a people who share a common destiny – Narc-Kenya says "one Kenya one nation one people,” she said on her twitter.
