Raila launches new uniform for resistance movement [Photos]

The move comes as Odinga is planning a major event to formally launch the resistance movement.

NASA leader Raila Odinga on Tuesday made another stride as he seeks to transform his coalition into a resistance movement.

Barely a week after announcing that NASA would rebrand into a resistance movement, Odinga has now launched a new uniform for the National Resistance Movement.

The new uniform is inspired by military wear including a jungle green cap. They will also a white t-shirt with an orange clenched fist serving as its logo.

Odinga launched the new uniform at his Capitol Hill office.

The development came at the same time that the Opposition coalition is planning a million-man match to Nairobi’s CBD to launch the People’s Assembly.

The Opposition chief has stated that he intends to use the People’s Assembly to push for a new legitimate government.

It remains unclear how the new body will fit in the existing legal framework although NASA leaders have promised to use peaceful and legal mechanisms to push for their cause.
