Respect my community – Wavinya Ndeti blasts Raila over remarks on Kamba community

2017 Machakos Gubernatorial aspirant Wavinya Ndeti has blasted ODM leader Raila Odinga over his remarks on the Kamba Community.

In a tweet, Wavinya said she was very disappointed with Raila’s remarks as he addressed people from the Kamba community, in Kibra.

She went on to say that the community has relentlessly supported the opposition leader for the past 10 years, adding that their loyalty should not be taken lightly.

Baba I'm very disappointed with your statement. Kambas are patient and loyal but we will not be taken for granted under any circumstance. We supported you for 10 years and you should respect my community,” wrote Wavinya Ndeti.

Raila on Kambas

Her words come after Raila Odinga met the Kamba community in Kibra Constituency, as he campaigned for ODM’s Imran Okoth for the November 7 Kibra by-election.

In a viral video, the ODM leader said that he knows that people from the Kamba community keep their word, just like women do.

Najua Wakamba ni waaminifu kama wamama. Wakisema watakupatia, watakupatia,’' said Raila.
