World Marathon record holder Kelvin Kiptum and his coach Garvais Hakizimana died in a road accident at Kaptagat along the Elgeyo Marakwet - Ravine road.
DCI officers in Elgeyo Marakwet on Wednesday questioned four individuals who visited marathon legend Kelvin Kiptum's family just days before his fatal car crash.
Why Kelvin Kiptum's airbags didn't deploy during accident "The sensors for the airbags are typically located at the front. If there's no impact on the front part of the vehicle, the airbags will not deploy. The impact occurred on the roof of the car," said the Keiyo South OCPD.
