Director of Innovation and Digital communication at State House Dennis Itumbi has hinted that DP William Rutos visit to former President Daniel Moi had been Pre-planned and even confirmed.
Itumbi disclosed the details after DP Ruto visited Mzee Moi's Kabaraka home and after a 2-Hour wait, he was not allowed to see him (Moi).Plot to embarrass DP William Ruto?Itumbi went ahead and termed Baringo Senator Gideon Moi an "interesting man" without giving further details on what he exactly meant.
He stated that the DP could not go anywhere unless it was pre-arranged and confirmed, in this case asserting that Ruto's visit was pre-planned."Gideon Moi is an interesting man. Very interesting. But #TeamHustle & its automatic membership of hustlers will just pray for him. "Just take note of this, DP @WilliamsRuto cannot just appear anywhere without prior arrangement &confirmation. Unless its an emergency. Ni hayo tu," his tweet read.
Mzee Moi had an appointment with his doctor thus could not meet William RutoIn a statement sent to newsrooms, Mzee Moi's communication team confirmed DP's visit to see the former Head of State.However, the team stated that Moi could not see Ruto as his visit coincided with the former President's appointment with his doctor."Former President Mzee Daniel arap Moi was visited today by Deputy President His Excellency William Ruto at his Kabarak home."Unfortunately, this coincided with the time Mzee Moi was undergoing routine physical exercise with his doctors. Mzee Moi agreed to meet the visitors at convenient time another day in the very near future," part of the statement read.
Reports indicate that the visit was confirmed on Tuesday after the DP sought an audience with Mzee Moi.

Minutes after the failed meeting, Elgeyo-Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen, a close of ally of the DP tweeted, "The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone. the LORD has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes.”
