Gunfight

Three suspected thugs were shot dead after a robbery in a cosmetic building in Kamakis, Ruiru, Kiambu County.

Reports indicate that the gang of four broke into the go-down on Sunday night by cutting through an electric fence. They then tied up the watchmen and proceeded to steal goods including cosmetics belonging to Nice & Lovely.

Kiambu police Commander Adiel Nyange and Ruiru police commander James Ng'etich said that an AK 47 rifle was retrieved from one of the robbers, who was arrested.

According to a report by the Star, the company’s CEO tipped off the police after learning about the breakage through CCTV.
