Laikipia University students have blocked the Nakuru-Nairobi Highway protesting the killing of one of their colleagues who was knocked down and killed by a matatu.
The second year Education student identified as Austin Rotich, was hit on Wednesday night by a matatu belonging to Royal Rift Sacco and died on the spot.
Police have urged motorists to exercise caution when approaching Laikipia University’s campus which is located at Mbaruk area, 20 Kilometres from Nakuru Town.
