Controversial political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has opined that it was wrong for David Ndii’s wife,

On Tuesday, Mwende disclosed to the country that it was Kenyatta who requested her to come back in the country in 2014 to champion for the presidential digital transformation of Government.

According to Ndii's wife, she was supposed to create a database for Kenyatta's government which would have the data for all Kenyans and assist in tackling security challenges as well as creating transparency in the country.

However, the self-proclaimed political scientist has advised Mwende not to talk about behind the scenes dealings in public

“David NDII is BEING NAIVE with his BRAGGADOCIO. They will MOLEST him in Police CELLS and then Charge him with MISPRISION of TREASON. His WIFE should not TALK about under-clothes on TV. The Couple is BEING USED by FOXY Baba,” part of his tweet read.

Ndii’s wife made a special appeal to the Head of State to release the husband and asked where was the gentleman who brought her back to the country.

“I want to ask the President where is that gentleman in 2014? who asked me to come and create a single source of truth to create transparency in Kenya? My husband's arrest is not transparent,” she posed.

Mwende alleged that her husband had not committed any crime adding that it was wrong for detectives to take him into custody without a warrant of arrest.

At the same time, NASA leader Raila Odinga has condemned the arrest stating that the Government was trying to intimidate the Opposition but they would not relent in their quest for electoral reforms.
