Kanze Dena ranked number 1

Shinning all the way, congrats!

Celebrated journalist and State House Deputy Spokesperson Kanze Dena was ranked number one the list of individuals who appeared in Google searches made in Kenya during the month of June.

Dena topped the searches after President Uhuru Kenyatta appointed her to deputize Manoah Esipisu as deputy head of PSCU.

It was also during the month of June that the former Citizen TV anchor gave a much lauded inaugural press conference at State House.

Dena was the only Kenyan whose name appeared in the list of top ten google searches made in Kenya.

Given the World Cup hype, topics relating to soccer developments in Russia dominated the searches.

The number one search in the month of June was “world cup fixtures” which was followed by “World Cup 2018” and “World Cup groups” at number two and three respectively.

Brazil, which is a popular choice of likely winners of this year’s world cup, appeared at number four while Dena came in at number five.

The only other search relating to an individual was that of deceased Tanzanian musician Sam wa Ukweli who was ranked at position eight.

The Bongo star passed on in rather controversial circumstances after he fell ill while recording music at a studio.

The rest of the searches revolved around various matches with the Portugal vs Spain leading the searches at number six.
