Former KTN news anchor lands a new job with International media house

Former KTN news anchor Anne Ngugi has landed a new job with the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC).

According to a report by Business Today, the veteran Swahili anchor is set to make her comeback at the International media house, after almost 4 years of keeping a low profile.

Anne Ngugi worked for KTN before she was poached by Mediamax’s K24 TV and was later on shown the door in 2014 after working for seven months.

Anne who has been working at MBCI TV, a Christian channel will join the likes of former NTV news anchor Larry Madowo who is now the BBC Africa business editor, Former KTN sports anchor Lynn Wachira and Michelle Katami.

Also joining BBC is KBC’s Roncliffe Odit.

BBC has been changing the structure of its region bureau in Nairobi in a bid to expand its presence in the African continent.
