While she has been tickling our funny bones on NTV’s show Auntie Boss, Shiro has been keeping her own share of sobering stories.

For the first time ever, Nice Njeri has shown her family to the public. A wife and mother of one, she reveals on Parents Magazine that life was not always glitz and glamorous for her.

She talks about tough times of poverty and unemployment, “So hard were the struggles that some days, all we could do as a family was sit at home, join hands and fervently pray to God to intervene.”
