We have all come across men who are so insecure to the point that they cannot let their women go out alone
These are the kind who insist on dropping you at your workplace every morning and picking you up in the evening. Even when you are going shopping with your girlfriends, these men keep on calling and texting to know where you are and what you are doing.
While texting your woman every minute when she is out partying could be seen as a sign of love and concern, sometimes it is usually out of mere insecurities. Unless we understand the reasons that make men insecure in relationships, we can barely do anything to help.

Financial status
A man will always feel threatened if he cannot support his woman financially. His greatest worry is that his woman may easily fall for a man who is more financially stable and this makes men feel emasculated. Your man may also feel insecure if you earn more than him because he fears that you might choose a man who earns better.
Fear
If fear dominates a man’s mind in a relationship, there is no doubt that he will always be insecure. At one point he will be worried that you can cheat on him, dump him or even wonder if he is really good enough for you. He will thus try to protect you and be with you always to cover up for his fears.
Complimenting other guys
It is good to appreciate a good-looking man, a nice haircut or a well-built man. But doing this in the presence of your man will make him feel insecure.
Men believe it is easier for women to cheat
Most men believe that it is very easy for a woman to cheat in a relationship since there will always be men chasing her.
Due to this, men sometimes tend to feel that their women can be easily swayed into giving in to demands from other men.
Self-confidence
When a man is not confident enough about his personality, capabilities and looks, he will always live in fear of losing his woman to some other man. If he is surrounded by friends who are smarter, funnier and well ripped, he might feel insecure.
Bedroom skills
Being a star in the bedroom is every man’s dream. There is nothing as devastating as not being able to satisfy a woman sexually.
If he is uncertain of his bedroom prowess, that is reason enough to make him insecure.
