It's been just over a year since Abby Lee Miller had emergency spinal surgery and was diagnosed with Burkitt lymphoma, a rare form of cancer-and she took to Instagram Tuesday to share how far she's come.

The Dance Moms star posted a throwback video to Instagram of when she finished up her first round of chemotherapy (Abby would go on to have nine more rounds of chemo after that first one). In the video, she and her nurse are cheering excitedly.

"You're all done with chemo! Woo!" her nurse shouted while clapping. Abby responded, "Woooo!" then, "I feel wonderful! Yaaay!"

But in her caption attached to her throwback video, Abby was much less enthusiastic, and understandably so.

"Looking back on a year ago today," she wrote. "I seemed thrilled to have finished my very first round of a 6 day intensive chemo therapy cocktail complete with a spinal tap! I can't believe I'm smiling...it was quite a different story after nine more rounds of poison shooting through my veins!"

In case you haven't been following, Abby was diagnosed with Burkitt lymphoma, an aggressive type of cancer that affects white blood cells, according to the American Cancer Society .

In addition to 10 rounds of chemo, Abby underwent two surgeries, including one to remove the "mass/tumor choking her spinal cord," she said in an emotional Instagram post earlier in April. She also bravely posted a photo of the scar running down her spine.

Abby's recent shares have garnered a ton of positive support, with followers outpouring so many heart emojis and "you're so strong" replies, you'd think you're reading the same comments over and over.

Abby still has one more surgery to go, according to April Instagram post, but fingers crossed she'll be posting happy thoughts-and lots more yays!-when that one is behind her, as well.
