Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen has been booed at Bomas once he took the stage on Wednesday.

The Senator was opposed by those in attendance and almost escorted off the stage for his views on the BBI implementation.

Murkomen called out MP Junet Mohamed for allegedly sidelining one side of the political faction.

"It will be a lie for me to leave this stage without saying that this program has been skewed to leave out people with different opinions who have something to say," the Senate Majority Leader said.

He had also taken exception with MP Junet Mohammed’s comments over perceived divisions in Jubilee.

Intervention from Haji

Senator Yusuf Haji intervened and calmed down the crowd which was booing Senator Murkomen.

In jabs seem to be directed to Tanga tanga, Junet stated that the faction had changed tune after seeing the support the BBI report had received.

"You know success has many fathers, which is why even those who had opposed and given the BBI bad names are showing emotions," he stated.
