Media Personality Anita Nderu is set to replace Amina Abdi Rabar at Capital FM to host a popular evening show dubbed “Hits Not Homework”.
The Beautiful Anita will be stepping into the shoes of Amina Abdi who left the show to replace Larry Madowo as the host of NTV’s The Trend.
Amina left "Hits Not Homework" after a 5-year run on air on and Anita, a former host of NTV’s Teen Republik, is already undergoing training before she starts to host Hits Not Homework on Monday.
Anita, who has been anchoring news at the media house for almost five years, will hold her farewell party dubbed Anita’s ‘Eviction’ Party on Friday at a local pub in Nairobi.
The competition was meant to culminate in the unveiling of the new host of Hits Not Homework.
In December there were six finalists left in the competition. The Capital FM website has meanwhile removed the page that was advertising and updating competitors.
Amina who was hosting “Hits Not Homework” decided to shift her attention from the show and focus more on TV shows and Emceeing at Events, with other two shows coming up.

Through her social Media Pages (Facebook), Amina revealed that the “TakeOverThursday” show was her last appearance on Hits Not Homework.
Amina was been hosting the show alongside the Super Talented DJ Joe Mfalme.

Despite, Leaving "Hits Not Homework" Amina has promised that she will be hosting other two new shows on Capital FM.
