A former Citizen TV journalist has been appointed to head a government taskforce.
In a Gazette notice, David Makali had been appointed chairman of Taskforce for improvement of Government Information and Public Communications functions.
In the appointment, Makali will work with Royal Media Services journalists Robin Njogu and Alfred Nga’ng’a in the 19 members task force.
“It is notified for the general information of the public that the Cabinet Secretary for Information, Communication and Technology has appointed a Taskforce for improvement of government information and Public Communications functions to align them with emerging Public Sector dynamics and expectations,” read part of the Gazette notice.
Others appointed in the taskforce include; Kennedy Buhere, Augustus Munywoki, Josephine Kinuthia and Charity Kagiri who will all serve as joint Secretaries to the taskforce.
Jane Gitau, Ruth Musembi, Prof. Murej Mak’Ochieng, Dr Abraham Mulwo, Umi Wabomba, Browne Kutswa, Paul Udoto, Cosma Gatere, Noella Mutanda, Gwaro Ogaro, Eunice Muhamia and Mbugua Njoroge will serve as members of the taskforce.
