Kiss 100 radio presenter Kamene Goro has lately been hitting the headlines for controversial reasons. This ranges from picking fights with top socialites, in the name of being outspoken.
At the age of 21, Kamene made her TV debut as a news anchor and reporter on Ebru TV, following a successful screen test. At that time she was still a third year Law student. She worked with the station until September 2015 when she left the station.
Reports indicate that she left the station after a bitter fallout with the station’s management, over her wages just like a few other presenters who had quit the station before her. Other sources claimed that she left the TV station because she was planning on moving to Arusha to start a new life with her then-fiancé following a posh pre-wedding held in Genoa-Italy, but their wedding didn’t happen, as she broke off her engagement.
During that time, all you could hear people talk about was a soft spoken Kamene Goro, and her curvy body.
In 2017, Ms Kamene was re-hired by Ebru TV, but this time around she was going to be the boss. The sexy news anchor came back as the Head of News at the TV station that was struggling at the time, where she only worked for a few months before she quit again.
Five months into it, Kamene Goro said that she left and in her own words, she left because it was becoming difficult working at Ebru TV. It was also not the place she fell in love with the first time she worked there.
At one time, she disclosed that as head of news, she did everything including producing, editing and reading the news.
In 2018, the sassy presenter made a comeback as the queen of controversy. She hit the headlines after she publicly declared the number of men she had slept with, which stood at 27 while she was only 26 years old.
She later on broke the internet after she deliberately decided to share risqué photos, in the name of appreciating her thick and curvy body.
In the same year, she landed a job with NRG radio where she was paired with controversial vlogger Andrew Kibe. Her controversial nature continued as their new job’s content was based on controversial topics. At one time, Kamene kissed Kenyan rapper Prezzo on camera and the video which was uploaded on YouTube went viral.
She also got herself into a fight with socialite Huddah Monroe after she (Kamene) publicly claimed that she was a high-end prostitute. This has happened not once but twice, in less than a year.
Kamene said that there was no way Huddah could own a house and a posh car, without people knowing what her actual job is. This controversial nature has seen her and Kibe land jobs at Radio Africa’s Kiss 100, a job they are yet to start because of a court order obtained by their former employer, NRG radio.
Looking back, the Kamene Goro of today is a totally different human being from the Kamene that graced the Ebru TV screens, with Prime Time news. According to her, she is just bold and outspoken.
