Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has given Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru a special offer, a day after her luxurious traditional wedding to City lawyer Kamotho Waiganjo.
In a message seen by Pulselive.co.ke, Sonko congratulated the two for making their union official and also called for God’s blessings in their marriage.
He went on to state that Waiguru was welcome to deliver for free, at the Pumwani Maternity Hospital in Nairobi, hinting that the Kirinyaga Governor was expectant.
Governor Sonko also indicated that his wife is also set to deliver at the state of the art hospital, in a few months to come.
“Before the honeymoon begins let me take this earliest opportunity on behalf of my family and the great people of Nairobi to Congratulate my colleague from Kirinyaga HE ANN WAIGURU for getting married to Wakili Waiganjo. May the Lord bless your marriage. May you have a safe delivery on your bundle of joy on the way. You are welcome to enjoy the state of the art maternity facilities at Pumwani hospital where the 1st lady of Nairobi is also set to deliver there in a couple of months to come,” wrote the Nairobi Governor.
Luxurious wedding
Mike Sonko’s words come a day after Waiguru and Waiganjo made official their union after about 10 years of being lovers. The two held a lavish traditional wedding at Kiamugumo Primary School in Ngariama Ward, Gichugu Sub County.
The wedding was attended by high profile guests who had been invited to witness as the two became one.
The guests included President Uhuru Kenyatta, Opposition Chief Raila Odinga, former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka, Cabinet Secretaries, Governors, Senators and MPs among others known individuals.
