Milele FM Boss Alex Mwakideu is mourning the sudden death of his Mother who passed on, on Tuesday.

The Sad news was shared by his Co-host Jalango’o on Wednesday during the Milele Breakfast show informing their listeners on why Mwakideu had not reported to work.

Jalang’o disclosed that Mwakideu’s mother who has been ailing for some time now passed on, at around 3pm on Tuesday.

Lost his Mum

“Ndugu yangu Mwakideu hatakuwa kazi na sisi for some time, kwa sababu amempoteza mama yake mzazi. Mama alikuwa mgonjwa tukawa naye hospitali, akazidiwa kabisa akarudisha nyumbani, so jana mida ya saa tisa ivi ndo mama naye akatuwacha. Ameomba kuwa hatakuwa na sisi kwa muda wakati tunapanga safari ya mama ya mwisho,” said Jalang’o.

On Instagram Jalang’o wrote “Good morning! Let's roll! Holding the show together with my brother @chris001ke . Send your prayers to my boss and brother @alex_mwakideu who lost the mum last night! Sad morning but we thank God! #GodAboveEverything Unaskiza milele Fm ukiwa wapi?#MileleBreakfast”.

The sudden demise of Mwakideu’s mother comes months after he also lost his sister Emmy Mwakideu.

The late Emmy Mwakideu was diagnosed with cancer late 2017 and succumbed to the disease on January 11th.

“Emmy battled with cancer since late 2017 and on 11.o1.2019 she rested in the lord. The memorial service will be held this Saturday, 19th January 2019 at Nairobi Baptist Church (Ngong Road) from 10:a0am,” read part of the Obituary message.

Mourning the death of his sister, Mwakideu wrote “Just don't have words to write. But still I am grateful to God for the time you were with us. I will miss you so much. Rest with the Angels my sister Emmy Mwakideu.
