Tanzanian songbird Nandy has for the first time opened up on why she never made public her relationship with her late husband Ruge Mutahaba.
In an interview with Millard Ayo, Nandy said that they kept the relationship a secret because not most people would approve.
She went on to say that they were both trying to create their own lifestyle, in a way that would help them achieve their plans.
“Nilikataa kwa sababu hatukupenda mahusiano yetu kwa sababu I know ingekuwa iko open ingekuwa ni more worse than hata hivo walivyokuwa wamejua kidogo. Kuna watu ambao wangeona ni sawa lakini wengi hawangeona ni sawa so tulikuwa tunajaribu sisi wote wawili kutengeneza njia ya maisha yetu binafsi ili kufikia lengo letu,” she said.
Nandy added that they had their own plans and how they wanted to live their lives.
She also said that they had seen the effects of Ruge having his previous relationships public and the drama it came along with and it’s not something they wanted.
