Kenyan RnB singer Otile Brown has finally responded to comedian Jalang’o after he compared him and three other artistes to Tanzania's WCB singers.
While responding to the comedian’s post on Instagram, Otile said that Jalang’o should stop making them look miserable and small compared to artistes from other countries.
He went on to say that they were not small as they have been made to look and every one of them works hard, and when their time to shine comes, they will be at the top.
Otile Brown said that the unending debates on who is better was becoming an embarrassment to Kenyan artistes, noting that he was not in the game to compete with anyone.
“Am not trying to attack you bro but enough talk about wasafi, we are good stop making us look miserable and small with all these debates every time, artist from other countries are watching. We ain’t small like y'all make it look, kama hatujafika tutafika tu, I believe the more you work hard and smart the more you level up. And you can’t force anybody to support you or support what they don't feel.....watu wapambane, there's no other way around it....And to my fellow artists in the game and the up and coming artists, hakuna sympathy kwa game, go hard....If they ain’t listening make them listen by doing great music or something that can capture their attention. Mnatuaibisha kila mara na hizi debates zenu. Am not trying to go back and forth with anybody...It’s enough....Itafika wakati wasanii wa nje watatuona kama wasanii wanaoteseka wakati tunatoka kati ya nchi bora Africa. Uzalendo ni kuficha uchi wa watu wenu ata ukaulizwa hali yenu vipi? Utasema "tuko vizuri". Stop it. Mna boa, me nimechoka bana. Telling y'all with love. Haya utaskia he's not humble! Just stop it!” wrote Otile Brown.
Jalang’o had said that Otile Brown, Masauti, Kelechi Africana and Iddi Singer were good enough to take on Tanzania’s high flying WCB singers.
