Brooklyn group of City Colleges CEO Zari Hassan is not a happy woman after part of her luggage got lost inside a Kenya Airways plane on her way to Entebbe, Uganda.
In a post seen by Pulselive.co.ke, Ms Hassan narrated that she has been a KQ loyal customer but the mysterious disappearance of her luggage has discouraged her from using the plane again.
Going by her update, the mother of five lost 4 of her designer perfumes and a suit she was supposed to wear to a meeting upon touching down in Entebbe.
Robbery Alert
“Robbery Alert: I love the comfort of KQ to Entebbe but am always robbed. Allow me to talk about my expensive perfumes that I received on my Birthday have been stolen. So disappointed in Kenya Airlines. I've been loyal, but you always do me wrong. The other times I've ignored, but not today. All my perfumes I received as gifts from my friends in Dubai just disappeared. My new suit am supposed to wear for a meeting tomorrow is also missing. What am I supposed to wear for my meeting?”
“Let's not ignore the fact that your flights are always delayed and no explanations is given to passengers, still I ignored. I've never been on a KQ flight that’s on time. Shame on you. @officialkenyaairways you have my return date better make sure someone finds me in the lounge and return what belongs to me. I didn't travel for free, you set me back $2440, now I want what’s mine backs Period! And we will end this relationship in peace,” reads Zari Hassan’s rant.
Lost luggage
Back in 2011, Kenya Airways was taken to court in Sierra Leone over lost luggage. In the case, a lawyer representing an aggrieved passenger demanded for the recovery of lost luggage, valued at Sh577, 229 as well as damages for breach of contract and costs.
The passenger reportedly used KQ flight from Dubai to Freetown through Nairobi on October 20, 2011. On arrival in Freetown, Kaditu Kanu claimed that her hand luggage that she says was collected by the airline’s officials, was missing.
