Man dies after prankster used compressor to blow air into his backside

The initial investigation suggests that the air released fatally damaged his lungs

A man was killed by his colleague during a prank that went wrong.

46-year-old Akio Ishimaru of Japan was working in a manufacturing plant when died after his coworker jokingly blasted air from a compressor into his bottom.

The victim complained that he was feeling ill and was rushed to a hospital, where he succumbed to injuries.

Clowning

Police arrested the 34-year-old colleague, Yoshiyuki Yoshida, who told officers that he had no idea such a prank could kill someone.

According to Ibaraki Prefecture Ryugasaki Police, the men were on a break at their jobs in Ibaraki Tsukuba City and were clowning around.

Yoshida took the pipe from an air compressor and pushed it between the victim’s buttocks over his clothes and blasted him with air.

Pressure

Sadly, the strong pressure of the air compressor went into the victim’s body and injured him.

The initial investigation suggests that the air released in Ishimaru’s body fatally damaged his lungs.
