Gone are the days when Koinange Street was a popular base for Nairobi prostitutes to get work.

They have now moved to residential areas and can easily be found in dimly-lit streets within these areas:-

Hurligham

Pipeline estate

Kayole

Dandora

Umoja

Ngara

The prostitutes reportedly collude with landlords of some of the houses in these areas in order to receive a room for them and their clients.

Some of the reasons why prostitutes have decided to move their businesses to these residential areas is because of the affordable rates of the houses in those areas.
