Entering a Kenyan home 10 years ago, you would be greeted by a wall donned with netted covers from end to end.
However, nowadays Kenyans are more upscale and are using stylish wallpapers.

3. Great Wall Television
Most Kenyans in their 30s will definitely relate to these black and white televisions. Your house was without a doubt the coolest hangout joint if your parent possessed one of these.
Not sure if they are still in the market as Kenyans now prefer flat screen TVs.

4. Radios and tape cassettes
Tape cassettes cannot escape the minds of several Kenyans owing to the hard times they gave us while rewinding them to start playing the top song.
It was also a tricky affair to work with the radio and had to spend several minutes adjusting the knob before you found a proper and clean frequency.

This was the prime cup to serve tea in. They had the guarantee of a long lasting life as no breakages could be witnessed compared to the ceramic and glass ones in the market today.

This huge piece of furniture occupied the larger part of the living room area.
It was next to impossible to move them around and everyone in the neighbourhood had the same design.
