A Nairobi Based Design Company, 23 Marketing has been forced to issue a statement after it was contracted to draw a skull graphic with a gas mask on Dusit terrorist’s vehicle.

The terrorist who attacked innocent people at Dusit complex used a car under registration number (Toyota Ractis) KCN 304E to get to the scene on the day of the attack.

According to a statement issued by 23 Marketing Director Silas Marlone, the car was taken to their facility on December 13th 2018, to be branded with a skull graphic meant to hide a dent on the car.

He added that they had shared the information with relevant authorities and will remain available in case of any questions.

“23 marketing concepts is a vibrant youth led Design, Print and Branding Company based in Nairobi Kenya.

Our Aim has always been to build brands and growing them.

“On 13th Dec, 2018 We received a client who wanted a specific Skull graphics on his car to hide a dent on the rear.

The car (KCN 340E) was brought in at 7pm and picked at 9pm after which we parted ways with the owners just as we do with all other clients.

“We are in no way associated with the said terrorists and we have shared the information to the relevant authorities.

We remain at your disposal in case of any questions.

“May God, truly Comfort Kenya during this trying time,” read the statement.

Car with same registration number

However, detectives looking into the Dusit Attack have also traced another car that bares same registration number with the one that was used by terrorists.

The vehicle, a Toyota Ractis KCN 340E, was found parked at an apartment in Newvalley area of Kitengela.

The owner of the car who resides at Geojoska Apartments was arrested in the raid that involved officers from the Anti-Terror Unit.

The NTSA database shows that registration number KCN 340E, belongs to a company named Cynkim Investment Limited.
