KNEC Chairman George Magoha on Friday announced that he would be leaving the exams council in March 2019.

Magoha made the announcement during the release of the KCSE 2018 results at KNEC headquarters in Nairobi.

He was appointed to the exams body in 2016 by then Education CS Fred Matiang'i.

Magoha's leadership has since major reforms at KNEC with drastic reductions in instances of exam-cheating.
