The incident happened in Westlands

Police authorities on Thursday night raised a number of strip clubs in Nairobi.

The operation, conducted by the Transnational Crime Squad resulted in the arrest of 21 Nepalese girls who were working in the strip clubs.

The girls, however, are being treated as victims of human trafficking and are held at the victim rescue centre as investigations continue.

According to the authorities, the girls will be released if they are found to have entered the country legally but if that is not the case, they will be deported to Nepal.
