Biwott’s first wife sued over sharing of Sh100 billion empire

Biwott had three wives and 7 children

The family of the late Nicholas Biwott has been sued over the administration and sharing of his estate.

Biwott died on 11 July 2017 and left behind three widows and seven children.

His first wife, Hannie Biwott, and two of his children were named as administrators of his massive estate.

However, a creditor has now moved to the High Court seeking to get a share of the estate, alongside Hannie, Rhoda Biwott and Johana Catherine Biwott.

Barnabas arap Kiprono has given the widows a 21 day-notice when they should respond to his application.

“Take notice that in default of your appearing and accepting and extracting Letters of Administration, this Court may proceed to grants Letters of Administration to the said estate to Barnabas arap Kiprono your absence notwithstanding,” the advertised notice reads in part.

Pulselive.co.ke contacted Kiprono’s lawyers who declined to reveal the amount or nature of credit he had advanced to the late businessman.
