Eye problems do not always come with age. Your lifestyle can also affect your eyesight at an early age.

To boost your eye health, try eating these foods more often:

1. Red bell peppers

They are so enriched with vitamin C and studies suggest that vitamin C reduces the risk of cataracts. Apart from that, they contain vitamin A and E which are good for the health of your eyes. To get the most out of them, eat them raw.

2. Dark leafy vegetables

They are not only rich in iron but also vitamin C and E. They also contain carotenoids which are known to prevent long term eye diseases such as cataracts.

3. Salmon

Salmon, tuna fish, and trout are all fatty fish with omega 3 fatty acids. The omega 3 fatty acids are known to prevent dry eyes and glaucoma.

4. Sweet potatoes

Just like carrots, sweet potatoes are rich in beta carotene, a form of vitamin A that aids in night vision. Sweet potatoes also contain vitamin C and some bits of vitamin E.

5. Nuts
