All the Popaholics know that means a lot of different tools and popping strategies because there are so many pimples and mysterious bumps that walk in her treatment room. Her latest Instagram video calls for a rare and always exciting tool: the curette.
Dr. Pimple Popper didn't give much away in her caption. She wrote: "Squeeze & Curette! #drpimplepopper" She may be a woman of few words, but she has countless pimple pops under her belt. This one appears to be an epidermoid cyst, per her eagle-eyed fans.
Btw a curette is a surgical instrument made to scrape away tissue in a variety of procedures, including extracting pimples. It's a small metal hand tool with a scoop on the end. This is no comedone extractor tool, folks.
It gets the job done. Dr. Pimple Popper starts by slicing into the cyst and squeezing with all her might. She gets a giant wad of gunk out in the open. It seems to work pretty darn well, but Dr. Pimple Popper knows the job is not complete.
She grabs her curette to finish it off. Dr. Pimple Popper scrapes in and around the opening to remove every last bit of the cyst sac. Her fans are here for it. One wrote, "Ugh I love when you break out the curette " It's effective and so satisfying.
